Former Kootenai County Commissioner Todd Tondee has found a new job. And it’s at the county. He is a “transit program specialist” in the Grants Management Office, which is overseen by the county commissioners. It’s a new position. “It’s been very exciting,” Tondee said Friday. He started Monday. He will be “mostly dealing with the Citylink bus system,” he said. The Grants Management Office is a four-person department with Jody Bieze serving as director, he said. He said the pay range for his position is $19.90 to $27.46 per hour, though he declined to say where he was in the range.
