Engineer To Give Dike Road Update

In a newsletter today, Kootenai Environmental Alliance asks members to share their thoughts with the City Council about the tree cut along Coeur d’Alene’s Dike Road: ” Tonight at 6Pm the Coeur d’Alene City Council will be hearing an update on the Levee certification from consultants Ruen Yeager. There will be an opportunity for public testimony at the end of the meeting tonight, or you can email your thoughts to council members beforehand.”

Question: On Monday, I encountered a woman outside The Vault on Sherman Avenue who wondered if anything could be done now to address the over-cutting of ponderosas on the Dike Road. Anyone out there have any ideas?
