Tondee To Earn $21.74/Hour
Former Kootenai County Commissioner Todd Tondee will be paid $21.74 per hour in his new gig with the county. The Press reported last week that Tondee got a new job as the “transit program specialist,” a newly created position in the Grants Management Office. Tondee said last week the pay range for his job is $19.90 to $27.46 per hour, but declined to be more specific. On Tuesday, county human resources director Skye Reynolds released the specific hourly rate he will earn. Reynolds said 13 people applied for the position, which was opened from Dec. 9 through Dec. 26. The job was posted at local and regional colleges, the county’s website, in The Press, governmentjobs.com , LinkedIn, Indeed.com and Craigslist/ David Cole , Coeur d’Alene Press. More here .
Question: Is that a reasonable wage for an ex-commissioner?
