Days Gone By: The Wilma

From Keva Wolfe of Old School North Idaho comes this photo of a marching group west bound on Sherman Avenue at 2nd Street. In the background, you see the marquee for the old Wilma theater. All that remains of the Wilma today is a grassy lot at northeast corner of 2nd St/Sherman Ave. I attended one movie at the Wilma (circa 1982), with friends Doug & Sherry Clark. I believe it we saw the animated movie “The Secret of NINH.” I was living in Lewiston at the time. I can’t remember much about the theater, other than the interior was nice.
