Why elect Fagan?

Reading with disbelief Mike Fagan’s remarks about immunizations and whether they’re needed or not, I can only shake my head in wonder that he has been elected to represent the citizens of Spokane.

Science has proven over and over again the benefits of vaccines to prevent diseases, not only for those who get the vaccine, but for those who, for whatever reason, cannot get immunized. There has been no evidence to date that vaccines cause autism. Their benefits far outweigh any negatives.

Apparently Fagan also finds issue with global warming, while the vast majority of scientists are now in agreement that the Earth is in a global warming stage.

Why do we persist in electing such creatures as Mike Fagan?
