Days Gone By: Woolworth’s

Another from Keva Wolfe’s Old School North Idaho collection : This is the old Woolworth’s on Sherman Avenue (site of the current Sherman Park Square, just west of The Vault, San Francisco Sourdough & Pita). I got here in time to venture into the old J.C. Penney’s on Sherman Avenue. But I believe Woolworth’s had already burned down. It might have been boarded up in 1984. I can’t remember.

Question: Anyone remember the old Woolworth’s?
