Yesteryear: Waterfront Flooding

On the Old School North Idaho site , Aaron J. Rich posted this photo of flooding at Coeur d’Alene’s City Beach (circa 1933). Much, of course, has changed since this photo was taken. Do you suppose some of the threes planted nearby were growing then? Methinks the current waterfront was much more conducive to recreational activities. Cool photo.
