Mark Vogt got more than he bargained for when he took a day trip Thursday to the Wolf Lodge area to experience a little nature. “I came to watch the eagles and I got to watch the whole mountain come down,” Vogt said, after a massive landslide buried Highway 97 near Beauty Bay. “I heard a couple of rocks come down and I thought someone was up above me in the trees,” he said. “Then all of sudden in 10 seconds half of the hill just came sliding down”/ Jeff Selle , Coeur d’Alene Press.
