Poll: Publish The Cartoons

  • Today’s Poll: Did the University of Idaho err in not warning the campus about the Moscow shootings Saturday?
  • Monday Poll: A supermajority of Hucks Nation said U.S. news outlets should publish the cartoons that led to the murderous rampage of Charlie Lebdo by Islamic extremists in Paris “as an exercise in free speech.” 62 of 78 respondents (79.49%) took that position. 8 of 78 respondents (10.26%) said American media should have published the controversial cartoons “as a show of journalistic solidarity.” 7 (8.97%) said US media shouldn’t have published the cartoons because the “content is too graphic and tasteless.” One person (1.28%) said the risk was too great to publish the cartoons.
