Defend the borders

You guys are so predictably wrong. Read your pathetic defense of illegals Jan. 7. Same old line. Anyone who doesn’t fall in love with this latest nonsense from your bad idea factory is a bigot. Please don’t tell that to my Hispanic grandkids. We love each other.

Someone breaks into your house and refuses to leave, and you catch hell for putting a lock on the fridge. There are reasons why we need to screen folks before entry. We are at war. We don’t need more criminals, and we need time to assimilate folks. So, your values-challenged mayor throws a party for them.

Illegal entry is a big-time national security issue and needs to be addressed with serious enforcement. No other country, throughout all of history, has been able to maintain governance without strongly defending its borders. People who think otherwise are either smoking too much happy weed or work for interests diametrically opposed to ours.

The decline in print journalism is a direct result of the mush between your editors’ ears.
