Appreciating Kershner

I’m a longtime fan of Jim Kershner, and it’s about time I wrote to express my appreciation for his terrific historical articles.

“Dutch Jake” Goetz was undoubtedly the most colorful character to live and work in early day Spokane. Jim’s Jan. 4 article on Dutch Jake humanized him in a way entirely befitting his personality and marketing genius.
