Trade pact too secretive
You know that when the mainstream media does a blackout on a topic, something smells fishy.
With regards to the Trans-Pacific Partnership, it was negotiated behind closed doors by 600 corporate lobbyists. No government officials in any country have been allowed to read it, yet the corporations are shoving this down our throats.
The little that was leaked tells us it is the North American Free Trade Agreement on steroids, that it is not about higher wages, or more jobs, and that international corporations will have power over our judicial system.
Congress and the president have not been allowed to see the full text of the TPP, yet he is set to sign it. How’s that for a democracy? Who/what is running this country?
