Edit: Obama Enters Lion’s Den
Tuesday, President Barack Obama used his State of the Union address to pitch raising taxes on people who have a lot of money and using it to help others who don’t. Today, he’s coming to Idaho - a state that has done precisely the reverse. Why? For two decades, Idaho has been a petri dish for all-Republican rule. The results are visible for everyone to see. Twenty years ago, Idaho’s tax burden was already 40th lowest in the nation. Not satisfied, the GOP whacked away — taking the burden down to the national basement. It’s actually hit bottom, although today, it’s ranked next to last. While some cuts were applied across the board, a good many of them shifted taxes from the rich to the poor/ Marty Trillhaase , Lewiston Tribune. More here.
Question: What do you expect President Obama to say at Boise State today?
