Gun theme disturbing

I was mistakenly shot at by a hunter while trail-riding my horse when I was 15. I also had a handgun pointed at my head when I was in college. So I am deeply disturbed by the gun theme that has been dominating the front pages of The Spokesman-Review the last two days.

Why the need to cater to this crazy crowd is beyond me. I live here, too. I desperately want sensible gun legislation, and I’m sure I’m not the only one in Spokane who thinks the same. Rep. Matt Shea does not represent me or people in his district who have these similar beliefs and values.
