Huckleberries Hears …
… That the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee discussed the possibility of not handing out flags at the annual Fourth of July Parade in downtown Coeur d’Alene this year. Seems the $2000 price tag is high for the Elephants. And the warchest is low. There was some discussion last night re: possibility of the Republican Women’s group taking over the traditional flag distribution. But nothing was settled before the discussion fizzled out. Also, the Pachyderms approved that goofy resolution re: informed jurors. The author, whomever he or she is, believes that jurors should be able to make their own decision re: facts and law in a case, despite a judge’s instructions.
