Vote yes for CVSD levy, bond
As a graduate of Central Valley School District, a parent with three children attending district schools and as a business leader, I am asking all voters in the city of Spokane Valley and city of Liberty Lake to join me in voting yes for our levy and bond on Feb. 10.
CVSD has been thoughtful, transparent and completely open to its community in preparation of this replacement levy and bond. This is a pivotal moment for CVSD, which has not passed a bond in over 16 years. We must do better for our kids, schools, community and economy. It is time.
CVSD has asked, listened and is now acting. Thousands of parents and residents were clear that they expect to have safer schools, capacity and overcrowding issues resolved, and continued recognition as one of the state’s top-ranked public school districts. And they want this done without raising taxes. CVSD heard you.
Do not be misled by the false facts the opposition is putting out there. The proposal before CVSD voters is a replacement levy and bond. It does not raise your tax rate. Vote yes. I am.
