Letter: Move Up Parade Start Time
After finding it somewhat miserable to even walk from the air-conditioned car to the air-conditioned store Sunday and doing very little of anything in my not air-conditioned house, I thought I would throw out the idea of starting the Fourth of July parade at 9 a.m. this year instead of 11. There are lots of kids and older folks in the parade, and many of them are not just sitting on a float! There is very little shade on the route for the participants and not that much more for the people watching. I can’t imagine anyone not thinking this is a good idea!/ Nancy Young , of Coeur d’Alene, letter to the editor , Coeur d’Alene Press.
Question: Do you think that’s a good idea? And/or: Are you planning to attend the parade?
