Weather Cooperates In Fire Fight
Monday’s weather cooperated with firefighters battling the Cape Horn Fire in Bayview, Idaho. Fire officials say there was very little fire growth, and as a result, firefighters were able to construct a fire line up to the ridge above Bayview. Monday night fire crews plan to conduct burn out operations to further strengthen the fire lines if the weather permits. If the fire lines continue to hold, fire crews predict a significant increase in containment on Tuesday. As of Monday night, though, containment remains at zero percent/ KHQ . More here .
