Wild Card/Tuesday — 7.7.15

I forgot to mention yesterday that Mrs. O & I enjoyed the tunes of superb vocalist Ruth Pratt and the Coeur d’Alene Big Band under the trees at Hayden City Park last week. Nice venue. Nice way to relax after a long day of entertaining you fine folks here at Huckleberries HQ. Why am I telling you this now? Chris Guggemos/Handshake Productions kicked off another summer of free concerts at four different local venues, with the Big Band concert. Kelly Hughes & his band performed at City Park Sunday. Tonight, rock-‘n-roll band Shiner (classics to today’s music) will perform from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Sherman Square Park in downtown Coeur d’Alene.
