Hump Day Wild Card — 7.8.15

The downtown Coeur d’Alene sky line is about to change again, with the City Council’s approval of the 2nd Hagadone Hospitality tower at last night’s meeting. Time will tell how this tower will impact downtown Coeur d’Alene, in terms of aesthetics and viewscape. But there should be little doubt that it’ll have a significant economic impact on the community. I was fairly new to the community in the mid-1980s when Hagadone Hospitality expanded the old North Shore into the current resort and helped transform the downtown. It’ll be interesting to watch construction of the second tower. I’m sure it’ll give us much to discuss here at Huckleberries HQ. Here’s your Hump Day Wild Card …
