Idaho’s real per capita personal income moved up from 49 th in the nation in 2012 to 47 th in 2013, the Idaho Department of Labor reports; that reflected a jump from $35,476 in 2012 to $36,340 in 2013, a 2.4 percent increase, compared to the national average of 0.1 percent, according to figures compiled by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. That means Idaho led the nation in real per capita income gains from 2012 to 2013/Eye on Boise. More here.
DFO: Yeah, yeah, I noticed that the small jump meant that Idaho led the nation in per capita income gains from 2012 to 2013. But some how the news doesn’t prompt me to do back flips. Thoughts?
