Weekend Wild Card — 7.10.15

As I sit in my home office typing this post, the wind is picking up and it’s raining outside. Sweet summer rain. Sweet relief from the sweltering heat of the last several weeks. I hope the rain doesn’t bring lightning strikes to our bone-dry forests. But I’ll worry about that later. For now, I’ll sit here for awhile and enjoy the rhythm of the falling rain, a sound that has been missing for too long. Enjoy the weekend.
