Wild Card/Monday — 7.13.15

A popped the first cherry tomato of summer into my mouth this morning before heading to Huckleberries HQ for another week of feeding this blog monster. Um-um. I’ve never harvested vegetables this early. I’m already giving away squash & cucumbers. And I’m wondering why I planted 3 tomatillo plants. The hot pepper plants aren’t keeping up with them. So my plans of making salsa from my own tomatillo/hot pepper/cilantro plants might be a pipe dream. Oh, well, the garden is progressing very, very nicely this summer. Here’s your Wild Card …
