Poll: Don’t Cut City Park Trees

• Tuesday Poll: Hucks Nation strongly opposes any attempt to cut city trees and carve off 70 feet of City Park to realign Mullan Avenue & install a parking lot, as part of the 4 Corners project. 93 of 212 respondents (43.87%) said “hell no!” Another 75 of 212 respondents (35.38%) said simply “no.” Combined, that represents more than 79% of the voters. Only 34 (16.04%) approved the possibility, which was raised in a meeting of the City Council and the parks board earlier this month. 10 (4.72%) were undecided.
