Clinton’s false promises
After months of sitting around town hall tables saturated with Hillary Clinton-appointed people who asked scripted questions, Clinton made her first rally on June 13, which was full of claptrap.
She talked about get-rich schemes as opposed to long-term growth. Talk about get-rich schemes: She and Bill obtain enormous fees for speeches, and lead a life that nowhere exemplifies the plight of the public that she supports. All Clinton is doing is regurgitating everything that President Obama promised but yet never accomplished.
She is playing to her base of the poor, Hollywood elite, women, blacks, Mexicans and environmentalists while promising free college education, child care and preschool, without saying how she will pay for it.
It’s fallacious rhetoric that the press and public will fall for, hook, line and sinker. It’s like President Obama bloviating while using Clinton’s voice. The public has to wake up to all these false promises by the Democratic Party by watching Fox News.
Yes, you can become president of the United States by playing to your base; make promises you’ll never keep, go on late night shows, play a lot of golf, show weakness and, when all else fails, blame President George W. Bush.
