Three Dog Night

Do you remember that old AlkaSeltzer commercial, featuring a guy sitting on the side of his bed groaning repeatedly, “I can’t believe I ate the whole thing”? Well, Mrs. O & I attended The Ryan Larsen Band concert at Sherman Square Tuesday night. And we decided to dine on the 99-cent corn dogs and bottled water (yeah, we live exciting lives) from San Francisco Sourdough nearby. I asked for 2 corndogs. She bought me three. After wrestling with Huckleberry the Beagle for the dogs, I ate 2 1/2 and then didn’t feel so good. So I took Huckleberry for a walk around McEuen Park. When I returned, I finished the other half dog, after debating whether to toss it in the nearby trash. My mother drilled into me back when that I should eat everything in front of me because there’s millions of people on another continent who are starving. I still regret the decision to finish off the last 1/2 corn dog (although the mustard and catsup provided for the meal helped me out). I wonder how those guys who win the hot dog-eating contest do it.

Question: When did you last eat too much of something? What was it?
