Stratton protects neighborhoods

I am writing to encourage my neighbors in Northwest Spokane to vote for Karen Stratton for Spokane City Council.

Karen and her husband have lived in the Audubon neighborhood for 23 years, and my family has been privileged to live across the street for the last eight of those years. I can’t say enough about the amazing neighborhood we live in. Beyond the charming older homes and wonderful parks, it is the people within this neighborhood that have kept us here. Neighbors like Stratton and her husband embody the term “community.”

After enjoying many barbecues, walks on the bluff and porch visits, I can attest to how awesome Karen really is. She knows the importance of strong vibrant neighborhoods. She values the benefits of walkable neighborhoods where people look out for one another. These type of communities work to keep crime down, and she knows it doesn’t happen by accident. I believe Karen will continue to ensure neighborhoods have the tools needed to thrive, such as planning dollars, neighborhood services and orderly sensible development.

Please keep Karen Stratton on the City Council. She is the candidate with the experience and passion we need to protect our neighborhoods.
