One lawmaker is taking heat on Twitter for a tweet questioning Caitlyn Jenner’s political leanings. Rep. Steve Cohen (D-Tenn.) took to Twitter on Monday to ask his nearly 13,000 followers: “Bruce # Jenner came out as a Republican last April.Well is # CaitlynJenner a Republican too?” Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, unveiled her new first name and look on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine on Monday. The “Keeping up With the Kardashians” reality TV star and Olympic gold medalist told Diane Sawyer in an April interview, “For all intents and purposes, I am a woman.” When asked in the same interview if she was a Republican, Jenner, 65, replied in the affirmative, saying, “Is that a bad thing? I believe in the Constitution”/ Judy Kurtz , In the Know blog, The Hill. More here.
