Poll: Tax? Fee? Who Cares?

• Wednesday Poll: Less than 19 percent of Hucks Nation cares whether cities in Kootenai County charge for street light service via a tax or a fee. Maverick activist Larry Spencer is trying to persuade Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls and other towns that the fee should be charged as a tax. Only 39 of 206 respondents (18.93%) agree with Spencer. 104 of 206 respondents (50.49%) said it should continue to be charged as a fee. And 59 (28.64%) could care less, marking “Are you kidding me?” 4 (1.94%) were undecided.
