Happy for Spokane Tribe

What a joy it was to see that the U.S. Interior Department has given its approval for the Spokane Tribe to build a casino on trust land in Airway Heights. It is my hope that Gov. Jay Inslee will also approve it. It is time to right a wrong that was done to the Spokane Tribe many years ago.

It is hard to believe that our 5th Congressional District representative would not favor a project that would help the Spokane Tribe better itself, and also the local area.

Go, Spokane Tribe!
