Missing Randy

I read JohnA’s post that long-time Huckleberries commenter Randy Myers died sometime during my vacation. But I haven’t located any obituary information about him. I have contacted a property management company that handled his apartment on Coeur d’Alene Avenue. But a representative could do little more than confirm that Randy had died. The representative was looking for possible next of kin to turn over Randy’s belonging to him or her. The news about Randy is sad. He wasn’t afraid to offer his opinion. And he wasn’t predictable in providing his opinion. He and I locked horns regularly during the McEuen Park makeover and failed recall attempt against then mayor Sandi Bloem and three council members. However, I grew to respect Randy’s opinion. He could disagree without being disagreeable. He’ll be missed at Huckleberries Online.
