Include janitors in leave

Much has been written about restaurant workers on paid sick leave, and they need it. I want to include janitors in this group.

As shop steward and janitor, I come across areas where janitors are exposed to illness; cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and the desks of workers who bring their colds to work. And that’s not to mention cleaning 5,000 to 8,000 square feet per hour, creating many physical injuries.

Don’t forget us when policy is discussed.
