Wild Card/Thursday — 6.25.15

Every year, I plant something new in my garden, simply to watch it grown — and to see what it looks like. This year? Tomatillos. My son-in-law introduced me to the tomatillo/hot pepper/chilantro trifecta to encourage me to make my own salsa. The tomatillos and chilantro are doing swell in the June heat. Peppers? Not so much. Can you use tomatillos for anything else but salsa. That’ll be the question I ponder as I try to avoiod the heat this weekend. Now for today’s Wild Card …
