20 Attend Park Friends Meeting

The organizational meeting of Friends of McEuen Park attracted nearly 20 people who are interested in caring for the park and providing information to visitors attracted to the downtown hot spot. During the meeting on Wednesday, an executive team consisting of five people was formed that will primarily focus on three areas:

• Observing things that are needed at the park, such as additional signage and information after hours phone numbers to report park incidents.
• Providing information to visitors of the parking facility to alleviate confusion.
• Acting as ambassadors to the park through providing general information at a welcome station or by designated group members roaming the park.
