, Hoffman asserted that nefarious liberals - George Soros, the United Auto Workers, Service Employees International Union and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees - are pouring money into this assault on Idaho conservatives. That’s a stretch. BetterIdaho relies on its affiliation with the Minnesota-based ProgressNow for some in-kind services - and ProgressNow apparently gets support from those sources. Executive Director Derek Farr of Riggins says his shoestring $80,000 budget is funded exclusively by Idaho contributors. But has anybody lately asked Hoffman where his tax-exempt IFF found $780,000 last year? Go ahead. First, he’ll tell you 90 percent of it comes from in-state.
