NIC To Charge For 4th Parking

For the first time, patrons parking on the North Idaho College campus while enjoying Fourth of July activities will be assessed a parking fee. Parking on the college campus for major events has always been free, but this year there will be a parking fee assessed as vehicles enter campus to park. The college is taking several steps to ensure that the public recognizes the cost is minimal compared with other lot fees in town, and will help offset costs of portable restroom rental, custodial costs, and security during major events such as the Fourth of July/ Tom Greene , NIC Press Room.
