Schweitzer To Build Summit Lodge

Schweitzer Mountain Resort plans to build a new lodge at the top of its Great Escape Quad lift. Work on the two-story, $3.8 million lodge will begin in early July and be completed by fall 2016, Schweitzer said today.  The resort’s board of directors approved the plans this week. “We are excited with the board’s decision to move forward with this project, especially following such a challenging winter,” CEO Tom Chasse said. “It’s great to have such strong support from our owners, allowing us to improve the resort’s infrastructure and deliver a better experience for our guests”/ Rich Landers , SR Outdoors blog.
