CdA Bank Robber Gets 8 Years
A Coeur d’Alene man convicted of robbing banks in Oregon and Idaho was sentenced to more than eight years in federal prison this week.
35-year-old Ricky Allen Fisher pleaded guilty in December to robbing banks in Ontario, Oregon and Cottonwood, Idaho. U.S. District Court Judge Edward J. Lodge increased Fisher’s sentence from 87 months to 99 months this week because Fisher committed the robberies just days after being release from prison in May 2014. U.S. District Attorney Wendy J. Olsen said when Fisher was released from prison in May 6, 2014, he took a bus to Idaho, then three days later went to Ontario, Oregon where he robbed a bank of $1,600/Cory Howard, KHQ.
