Mosul plan won’t work

The Obama administration’s announcement of the plan to retake Mosul from ISIS in April or May defies logic. It’s a good thing Obama wasn’t president during the D-Day invasion. We would all be speaking German.

I doubt that ISIS is too concerned, though, because five Iraqi army brigades will be used for the mission as soon as they’re trained. I seem to remember that we trained them once before and they stripped off their uniforms, dropped their weapons and beat a hasty retreat when ISIS took Mosul in the first place.
