PFPD Seeks Tips On Burned Thief

From PFPD Facebook wall: Post Falls Police Department detectives are currently investigating an incident that occurred at Post Falls Middle School during the evening of Monday, March 2. An unknown person(s) attempted to steal copper tubing from an air conditioner unit located on the north side of the building. The suspect(s) was unable to retrieve any of the tubing. But detectives believe the suspect(s) was possibly burned by the Freon, which was under extreme pressure and escaped fr om the unit. The suspect(s) may have unusual burns to the face, arms, or hands. Cost of damage to the cooling system has been estimated at approximately $5,000. It will need to be repaired before summer. If you have any information or tips, please contact Det.
