Mountain West Foils Would-Be Robber

A suspect came up empty-handed after he attempted to rob the Mountain West bank branch in Ponderay Friday. The Ponderay Police Department reports the man walked into the bank at 10:25 Friday morning and asked to see the manager. Once they were talking, the suspect said he had a gun and demanded cash. Instead of getting cash, the robbery alarm was tripped and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as being a male in his 20s, about 5‘8” with a thin build, light brown hair and unshaven. He was wearing an olive drab one piece jumpsuit, a desert camo floppy hat and dark sunglasses/ KXLY . More here. (Video photo via KXLY)
