WaLeg Day 60: Back to committee hearings
OLYMPIA — Having run through as many bills as time allowed Wednesday afternoon, legislators are back in committee-hearing mode today, starting to sort through all the stuff the other chamber passed and sent their way.
And, as the photo shows, the early cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
Perhaps the hottest topic on today’s list is a hearing on the governor’s carbon tax and trade legislation, which is in the House Appropriations Committee this afternoon.
