Read up on I-594

Here are some honest facts about me. I have been to gun shows and worked at gun shows, I have helped in a local gun shop.

There is no Internet loophole because, if you pay for a gun online and it’s shipped to you, it goes to a federal firearms-licensed dealer, who, by law, has to run a background check. The only actual fact of a loophole is the private sale of a firearm, in which it was already illegal to sell your firearm to these people. The Internet just provides a means of communication.

This hasn’t stopped any dangerous people from getting a firearm. Think about how they get their guns. They steal them, or buy them from people who stole them (black market), or they use a straw purchaser.

Also, this overwhelming majority was barely over 59 percent. Since when is 9 percent above the required amount a vast majority?

If people are feeding you a lie about that, what else have they lied about? Initiative 594, that’s what they have lied about. Read the initiative language. Yes, it’s 18 pages long, because it is not just “background checks.”
