Dan Gookin Marches In St. Pat’s Parade

Coeur d’Alene Councilman Dan Gookin sports a flag as part of the new PFLAG (Parents, Family & Friends of Lesbians & Gays) Coeur d’Alene organization that took part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in downtown Coeur d’Alene Saturday. The PFLAG contingent was part of “the 25 entries that piped, drummed, danced, rolled, trotted and marched along Sherman Avenue,” according to the Coeur d’Alene Press. Others included the Coeur d’Alene Firefighters Pipes,  Cherry Hill Park BMX, Ronald McDonald, the Snake Pit Derby Dames, Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce, Irish wolfhounds, Irish setters, the guy in the Guinness can and more.
