Officials ID Bayview Skeletal Remains

KCSO news release: Kootenai County Sheriff’s Detectives working in cooperation with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office have positively identified the skeletal remains found in Bayview Feb. 4. The deceased individual has been identified as Billy Vaughn Davis, 44, of Coeur d’Alene. Billy Davis was last seen by his family in July 2014, and they reported him as a missing person in November 2014. Davis lived a transient lifestyle and it was not uncommon for him to be out of contact for periods of time. Detectives are seeking assistance from anyone that may have had contact with Billy Davis, particularly the spring and summer months of 2014. Davis’ friends, associates and activities in the time just prior to his death are of particular interest. Full KCSO report here.
