Hauser Man Jailed After Chase

A 23-year-old Hauser man was arrested this morning after allegedly leading deputies on a chase and crashing his vehicle on the Rathdrum Prairie. Cody L. Coleman was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 90 in Spokane Valley before crashing his car near Post Falls. Just before 6 a.m., Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified of a reckless driver that was a suspect in an early-morning hit-and-run incident in Spokane Valley. A Spokane County deputy saw the 2005 Ford Focus driving eastbound on the freeway near the state line at speeds in excess of 100 mph, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office/ Brian Walker , Coeur d’Alene Press.
