Starbucks Seeks ‘Race Together’
Larenda Myres holds an iced coffee drink with a “Race Together” sticker on it at a Starbucks store in Seattle, Wash., today. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz announced earlier today at the company’s annual shareholder meeting that participating baristas at stores in the U.S. will be putting the stickers on cups and also writing the words “#RaceTogether” for customers in an effort to raise awareness and discussion of race relations.
