CdA Trustee Seymour Will Run

Trustee Terri Seymour of the Coeur d’Alene School Board told SReporter Scott Maben by email minutes ago that she planned to run for re-election. Quoth Seymour: “And yes, it is official I am running for re-election.” Four years ago, Seymour defeated Gregory Rod 576 votes to 415 votes in Zone 3 (west of Highway 95, between Honeysuckle Ave & Kathleen Ave). Seymour and Tom Hamilton were elected together and then formed a beach head in the overthrow of the ultimate overthrow of the School Board by three Hard Right appointees. The overthrow was beaten back two years ago when three middle-of-the-road candidates — Christa Hazel, Tom Hearn & Dave Eubanks — defeated two of the three appointees and paleo-con Bjorn Handeen.
