Poll: Arfee Settlement OK

• Wednesday-Thursday Poll: A near supermajority of Hucks Nation felt the $80,000 paid to Arfee owner Craig Jones was adequate or too low. 116 of 284 respondents approved of the settlement amount provided by the city of Coeur d’Alene after a Coeur d’Alene police officer shot the 2YO lab in Jones’ van last summer. Another 59 of 284 respondents (20.77%) considered the settlement figure as being too low. OTOH, 80 of 284 respondents (28.17%) said the settlement amount should have been lower. 16 (5.63%) said the city shouldn’t have settled. 13 (4.58%) were undecided.
