Troye, Pickford Prepare To Challenge Seymour

Alicia Troye (pictured), 41, of Coeur d’Alene, filed paperwork today to run for Coeur d’Alene School District 271 School Board Trustee Zone 3, a seat currently filled by Terri Seymour. Troye, a Coeur d’Alene resident since 2001, is an active member of the community. She has coached cross-country at Sorensen Magnet Elementary, is an involved member of PTO, Idaho Youth Ranch’s summer fundraiser, Wine, Women & Shoes. “Considering my recent time in the classroom, I am running for school board with the teachers in mind and students at heart,” Troye said. Troye had to resign today as a substitute teacher to run for the School Board. Complete news release here.
